Meet Andreas, our Brand Representative BU Italy 

For over two decades, Andreas has been a key part of the Oberalp Group – and those who know him understand: for him, work has long become a calling. What began in 2002 as a job in internal sales quickly evolved into an impressive career marked by perseverance, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for what he does.

“If you enjoy what you do, you usually do it well” – this phrase has accompanied Andreas for many years. And it’s more than just a motto. You can feel it when you talk to him, watch him at work, or meet him on the mountain. Andreas is a Brand Representative through and through. And no matter which Oberalp brand he represents – his authenticity has made him the voice of the Oberalp brands in the region for many. He especially identifies with the brand Dynafit.

Even as a teenager, Andreas was someone who got things done – he organized summer jobs on his own without any push from his parents. This independence has defined his entire career: from helping out in the warehouse with shoe repairs to joining his first ski tour at the Oberalp Kick-Off in Chamonix – Andreas has never hesitated to learn new things or grow. From a casual footballer, he became a passionate mountain sports enthusiast. He discovered his love for ski touring at Oberalp – and today, not only does he know the best powder slopes, but also the most exciting biking routes in the region and beyond.

Andreas spent ten years in Customer Service before moving into field sales – for Dynafit. For him, this was the ultimate dream job: a role with a lot of personal responsibility and direct contact with customers. Since then, he has been regarded as the face of Dynafit in the region – and today, he represents all of Oberalp’s proprietary brands with the same passion and expertise. He’s valued for his honesty, product knowledge, and down-to-earth nature. What truly sets him apart is his intuition: he only sells what he believes in. This authenticity allows him to give honest advice – and over the years, many customers have even become friends. After all, the mountains bring people together.

Both internally and externally, Andreas is known for his reliability, team spirit, and helpfulness. Whether it’s a last-minute binding mount for a colleague, detailed product feedback, or simply a piece of cake on someone’s work anniversary – Andreas is someone you can count on. Despite his quiet, reserved manner, he commands great respect. He’s not someone who seeks the spotlight – but someone who convinces others through competence and inspires them.
“What matters to me is appreciation – within the team and in dealing with customers. That’s what motivates me every day,” Andreas says with a smile.

Andreas doesn’t do things halfway – not even in sports. In winter, he enjoys ski touring, and during the rest of the year, you’ll find him on his road bike, mountain bike, or out trail running – movement is his true elixir of life. It’s no surprise that he also earned certifications as a lifeguard and as a mountain bike tour guide. Standing still just isn’t his thing – neither physically nor mentally.

The Oberalp Group has grown from a true startup with just a few employees to a family-owned, management-led company with more than 1,300 staff. Andreas has been there nearly from the start – he’s seen a lot, helped shape the company, constantly adapted – and never lost his passion. Whether at kick-offs, as a technical advisor, or involved in product development: Andreas is not only a brand ambassador but also a source of inspiration. His journey shows that when you’re passionate about what you do, you can make a real impact.
